Privacy Policy
Draft privacy summary for platform, subscriber, technician, and homeowner use. This should be reviewed by counsel before launch.
What We Collect
Account details, service records, equipment details, scheduling data, purchase records, filter requests, and authentication/audit events needed to operate the product.
Uploaded Photos and Files
If the Photo Notes add-on is enabled, the platform may store jobsite photos and related file metadata uploaded by subscriber users. Photo note uploads are retained for up to 4 years unless deleted earlier under platform policies or account lifecycle rules.
How We Use Personal Data
To authenticate users, provide scheduling and homeowner workflows, send notifications, support backups and exports, and operate subscriber workspaces.
Usage Data and Product Analytics
We may analyze aggregated or de-identified usage patterns, feature adoption, scheduling trends, and operational performance to improve the platform and develop future offerings.
What We Do Not Sell
Personal data should not be described as sold if it is not being sold. Any usage-data analytics language should stay clear that analysis is aggregated or de-identified before commercial use.
Retention, Export, and Deletion
Subscribers should have access to downloadable exports and account lifecycle rules for retention, cancellation, and offboarding.
SMS Communications
When a homeowner provides a mobile phone number and opts into SMS in the homeowner portal, we collect and store the phone number, the consent timestamp, the IP address and user agent recorded at the time of consent, and the exact disclosure text shown. We use this phone number only to send transactional service notifications on behalf of the homeowner's service contractor: appointment reminders, technician en-route updates, geofence-based ETAs, visit completions, follow-up notices, and service-request confirmations. We do not sell phone numbers and we do not share them with third parties for marketing. Phone numbers and consent records are retained while the homeowner has an active service relationship with their contractor and for a reasonable period afterward for audit and compliance purposes. Homeowners may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to any message, after which future outbound SMS to that number is suppressed. See the SMS Consent Proof page at /compliance/sms-consent for the full consent record format.
